For the few of you that don’t know, my Chihuahua companion of 16.5 years, Junior, passed away a week and a half ago. I’ve been kind of stumbling around in a daze since then, not sure what to paint.
A friend of mine in Savannah stopped by with food, to make sure I was eating (I wasn’t) and a bouquet of Lilies. I didn’t want to directly address Junior’s passing so soon in a painting, but couldn’t ignore it either, so I settled on painting the Lilies given to me out of love and kindness as a memory to the best little friend I ever had.
