"Flower Mouth"

Having surrounded myself with a ton of Zinnia flowers this year, it seemed obvious to me they'd start making their way into my paintings. Perhaps not like this, but here it is.

A Boy in Savannah

One of the things I like about Savannah is SCAD, Savannah College of Art and Design. You see art students everywhere here, riding on their bikes with their portfolio under one arm, sketching in the parks and shooting photos on the street. With the students in mind, I painted this, using buildings from downtown Savnnah in the background. The most famous landmark here is the fountain at Forsyth Park, shown in the bottom right. City hall is shown above that, with the golden dome. It is a beautiful city.

"Shower Scene"

This is the last of my hexagon paintings, and I doubt I'll ever do another one. They were a challenge and fun to do, but the series of them has run its course. This is:

"Adam in Eden"

This is the first of six large hexagon shaped canvases I've been painting. This is "Adam", and "Eve" is up next. "Steve" can't be far behind.

"Eve in Eden"

This is my follow-up painting to "Adam In Eden".

Someone made a five minute video with my paintings and posted it on YouTube.com. I have no idea who it was, but they did a nice job of it. If you'd like to see it, click HERE.

"Home"

This is a skewed birds-eye view of my home in Savannah, my yard and garage. I live on a corner, so you see one street on the far left, and the other street is unseen, below the house, where the two walkways lead. I didn't really notice it until it was finished, but I laughed when I saw I had put my dog Junior, smack-dab in the middle, larger than life. That's the place he holds in my heart, I suppose. And he knows it.

Happily, TONY
